A passion for Nebbiolo
Founded in 1998 by Emanuele Anzivino, the winery was born from a clear choice: to dedicate ourselves to Nebbiolo in a territory capable of giving it a distinctive, unrepeatable expression.

Our Vision
Two generations, one shared direction
Founded in 1998 by Emanuele Anzivino, the winery was born from a deliberate choice: Gattinara and its volcanic hills, a territory historically devoted to Nebbiolo and capable of giving it a distinctive identity.
Today Emanuele and his son Andrea carry this path forward together. The experience of the first generation meets a contemporary outlook, in a continuous dialogue between continuity and evolution.
We are a family-run winery: six hectares, between 20,000 and 25,000 bottles a year, with grape selection and harvest done entirely by hand. Every choice, from vine to bottle, stays in the hands of Emanuele and Andrea, and those who visit the cellar taste the wines directly with the people who make them.
The tendril, our emblem, represents the desire to start from the roots of tradition and territory, growing with coherence toward the future.

Our Roots
Gattinara, a winemaking tradition spanning millennia
The hills of Gattinara rise on the bones of an ancient volcano. Their porphyric soil, rare in the wine world, gives Nebbiolo an unmistakable minerality and a tannic structure that evolves for decades.
A land cultivated for over two thousand years, celebrated since Roman times and recorded in the chronicles as the home of wines destined for the great tables of Europe. We return to these roots every day.
We work the vineyard by hand, with absolute respect for nature's rhythms, harvesting every single cluster manually. Planting densities faithful to local tradition and a constant ear to the territory guide every gesture.

Eight expressions of terroir
The Result
In the glass, a wine that tells its own story
Ripe red fruit, sweet spices, balsamic hints and iron tones from volcanic soils.
Dense yet elegant tannins, deep sip, lively freshness and vibrant sapidity.
Long and mineral. The unmistakable signature of Gattinara Nebbiolo.
Nebbiolo over time
How colour and aromas evolve during ageing
Youth (2-4 years): Fruit: Cherry, redcurrant, raspberry. Flower: Violet, fresh rose. Tertiary: Still silent.
Maturity (5-7 years): Fruit: Plum, ripe sour cherry. Flower: Rose, fading violets. Tertiary: Cinnamon, clove, licorice.
Fullness (8-10 years): Fruit: Cherry jam, dried plum. Flower: Dried rose. Tertiary: Warm spices, tobacco, leather.
And it does not stop here. Beyond ten years the evolution continues in the same direction: leather, forest floor, truffle, goudron. Great Gattinara vintages can cross decades.
