A fine red wine from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the pre-Alpine hills of volcanic origin in Gattinara. After aging for three years in large oak barrels, it has a garnet color tending towards orange, a delicate aroma recalling violets, and a dry, harmonious flavor of considerable complexity.

Renewed shoot (Guyot), cover cropping, limited organic fertilization

Vinification

Fermentation and maceration in wood, ages 3 years in large oak barrels

Min. 13% vol.

Serving

Serve at 18-20°C in a wide glass. Open the bottle 1-2 hours ahead to let it breathe

Ageing Potential

8-12 years from harvest, the best vintages longer. Store in a cool, dry cellar away from light, bottles lying horizontally.
