Booking Terms and Conditions

For bookings made directly through our website, cancellation is free of charge with a full refund up to 3 days before the arrival date during the low season, meaning the months of August, November, December, January, February and March, and up to 7 days before the arrival date during the high season, meaning the months of April, May, June, July, September and October.

If a booking is cancelled after those deadlines, an amount equal to 50% of the total value of the stay will be charged.

In the event of failure to arrive without any prior notice (no-show), the full amount of the stay will be charged.

For bookings made through third-party platforms, only the cancellation terms and conditions set out by the respective platforms apply.

Online Sales Terms

Prices and minimum order

Prices shown in the online shop are stated in euro and include VAT. The minimum order is €60.

Shipping

Shipments leave directly from the winery in Gattinara. The shipping cost is calculated at checkout and is free for orders over €400 in Italy and over €500 in other European countries. We ship throughout Italy and abroad, wherever wine may be shipped without an importer.

Returns and order support

Purchased wines cannot be returned, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by law. For any problem with your order, for example bottles damaged in transit or errors in the shipment, write to us at info@anzivino.it: we reply personally and find a solution.

Sale of alcoholic beverages

The sale of wine and alcoholic beverages is restricted to persons aged 18 and over.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This website uses several categories of cookies to ensure that it works properly and to improve the browsing experience.

Technical cookies (always active)

These are essential for the website to work: cart management, browsing preferences and language. They do not require the user’s consent, as they are strictly necessary for the provision of the service.

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 (with consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous information about the use of the website (pages visited, duration of the visit, anonymised geographic origin). The data is collected with an anonymised IP address (anonymize_ip: true) and is used solely to improve content and the user experience.

Provider: Google LLC. The data may be transferred to the USA in compliance with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

Managing consent

On your first visit to the website a banner for managing cookies is displayed. Selecting “Accept all” authorises the use of analytics and marketing cookies in addition to technical ones. Selecting “Necessary only” activates technical cookies alone.

This choice can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the foot of every page of the website: the banner is shown again and any analytics and marketing cookies already installed are removed.

Purposes of processing

• send informational and promotional communications relating to the wines and the activities of the winery;
• handle requests for information from users;
• fulfil any legal obligations connected with such communications;

Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on the free, specific and informed consent of the data subject, given when the newsletter sign-up form or the contact form is completed.

Method of processing and data retention

Data is processed by electronic and manual means, in full compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency laid down by the GDPR.

Data will be retained for as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and, in any case, until the data subject requests its erasure.

Data collected through Google Analytics and Google Ads may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, in compliance with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and Data Privacy Framework). Providers that process data on our behalf

To run the website and its related services we rely on the providers listed below, which process the data indicated on our behalf and solely for that purpose:

• Vercel (United States): provides the infrastructure on which the website is published; processes the technical connection data, including the IP address, contained in the server logs.
• Shopify (Canada): manages the online shop and the payment; processes the purchase, billing and shipping data entered when the order is placed.
• Resend (United States): sends the emails generated by the website and stores the list of newsletter subscribers; processes name and email address.
• Understory: manages tasting bookings; processes the data entered in the booking form and in the related payment.
• Smoobu: manages room bookings for Il Cortile; processes the data entered on the booking platform, which opens on a page outside this website.
• Google (United States): provides visit statistics and campaign measurement, as described in the section on cookies.
• CARTO and OpenStreetMap: provide the maps shown on some pages; they receive the visitor’s IP address at the moment the map is loaded.

Where providers are located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR. Rights of the data subject

The data subject may, at any time, exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including the right to:

• obtain confirmation that their personal data exists and obtain access to it;
• request the rectification or erasure of the data;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• withdraw consent previously given;
• request the portability of the data.

Newsletter Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose of the service

Subscribing to the Anzivino winery newsletter allows you to receive periodic communications about our wines, events, offers, wine tourism activities and information about the Alto Piemonte area.

2. How to subscribe

Subscription takes place by completing the dedicated form on the website and confirming consent to the processing of personal data. Sending of the newsletter is conditional upon acceptance of this policy.

3. Frequency and content

Communications will be sent at variable intervals, depending on the activities and news of the winery, and may include informational, promotional or corporate content.

4. Right to unsubscribe

Users may withdraw their newsletter subscription at any time, using the unsubscribe link at the foot of every email or by writing to info@anzivino.it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent previously given.

5. Liability

The Anzivino winery is not liable for any technical disruptions or temporary interruptions to the newsletter service caused by third parties or by force majeure.

6. Changes to these terms

The Anzivino winery reserves the right to amend these terms in order to bring them into line with any regulatory updates or new features of the service. Changes will be communicated to users through the newsletter or on the official website.
