A deliberate choice, since 1998
The winery was founded in 1998 by Emanuele Anzivino with a precise vision: to dedicate himself to Nebbiolo in a territory capable of offering a distinctive, unrepeatable expression of the grape. The choice of Alto Piemonte, and of Gattinara in particular with its hills of volcanic origin, is rooted in a historic tradition and unique natural conditions.
Two generations, one craft
Today Emanuele works side by side with his son Andrea, the winery's winemaker. Every step passes through their hands: the vineyard, the fully manual harvest cluster by cluster, vinification, and aging in large oak barrels. Visitors taste directly with the people who made the wine: that is what a truly family-run winery means.
Limited production, by choice
Six hectares of vineyards, owned and directly managed, on the porphyry-rich hills of Gattinara and Alto Piemonte. A production of 20,000-25,000 bottles per year depending on the vintage, deliberately limited: our wines are not found in supermarkets, only at the winery, on the official online shop and in selected wine shops.
Il Cortile, hospitality in a 19th-century distillery
Next to the winery is Il Cortile: five rooms in a historic 19th-century distillery in the center of Gattinara. Guests sleep in the same building as the winery, taste with us and set out in the morning for the vineyards, Monte Rosa or the lakes.
